Licentiate in Psychology, family therapist on specialist level. Eija-Liisa Rautiainen works as a clinical psychologist and a family therapist in Kuopio University Hospital, Finland. She has been working for ten years in the mental health field, mostly with depressed patients in an out-patient clinic. The theme for her licentiate thesis was couple therapy for depression.

Isobel Reilly, M.SW, has an appointment at Queen’s University in the School of Social Work. She is a family therapist and trauma specialist working in the Family Trauma Centre, Belfast, a community based mental health service for children, young people and families affected by the civil conflict in Northern Ireland and one of the government's initiatives for the post-conflict settlement. Her particular interest is in the challenges to therapeutic practice of continuing trauma and threat.

She has Masters in counseling psychology and has also studied systemic family therapy at the Laboratory for the study of Human Relations. She is working in the state educational sector as a vocational counselor to young children at second degree and simultaneously as a family therapist. She is involved in community and educational programs, research and publication.

Since 1986, Joseph Rieforth has been working as a psychologist at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. He is head of the Department for Psycho-Social Courses and Studies and is responsible for postgraduate programmes in the fields of psychological psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, systemic counselling, family and systems therapy, supervision and consulting, psychological health promotion and mediation. He connects theoretical knowledge with practical experience in his role as therapist and lecturer at different universities and institutes. Mr. Rieforth is teaching therapist (German Society for Systemic Therapy and Family Therapy), teaching supervisor (Association of German Professional Psychologists, German Society for Supervision), consultant and mediator. In the field of mediation he is one of the founders of the postgraduate degree program for mediation at the University of Oldenburg. He is lecturer in the field of family and business mediation at the University of Bochum (D), the University of Hagen (D), and the College of Aargau (CH).
Joseph Rieforth, Dipl.-Psych., ist seit 1986 Wissenschaftler an der Carl von Ossietzky-Universität Oldenburg und leitet eine Abteilung für Psycho-Soziale Weiterbildung und Kontaktstudien, in der u.a. postgraduale Programme in den Feldern Psychologische Psychotherapie, Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie, Systemische Beratung und Familien- und Systemtherapie, Supervision und Organisationsberatung, Psychologische Gesundheitsförderung und Mediation stattfinden. Im Rahmen langjähriger therapeutischer Arbeit und Lehraufträgen an verschiedenen Universitäten und Instituten verbindet er die theoretischen Erkenntnisse mit praktischen Erfahrungen. Herr Rieforth ist Lehrtherapeut (DGSF), Lehrsupervisor (BDP, DGSv), Organisationsberater und Mediator. Im Bereich Mediation gehört er zu den Gründungsmitgliedern des Kontaktstudiums Mediation an der Universität Oldenburg. Weitere Lehrtätigkeit im Bereich Familien- und Wirtschaftsmediation an der Universität Bochum, der Fernuniversität Hagen und der Fachhochschule Aargau (Schweiz).

Mr. Juan Rodriguez Abellán is a Health Psychologist and a Family Therapist. He also is President of “El Cau” Association. The Center provides information about autism to parents and professionals, and conducts research on the efficacy of various therapeutic interventions. He was one of the first member and past president of the Spanish Autism and Childhood Psycho Therapy Association. Dr. Juan Rodríguez has collaborated as a teacher in postgraduate courses, “Master Intervenciones en Psicoterapia” in Salamanca University and Complutense University (Madrid). He has also been teaching in the Valencia Psychology University and Autonoma Psychology University (Barcelona).
He has published two books and more than 20 articles, chapters in some books and also participated in several International Congress in Spain, Italy, Argentina, Alemania, Brasil, y Portugal. Nowadays is the Director of the “Centro Piloto”, a center for developing programmes for disable people and their families.

Wilhelm Rotthaus, MD, studied medicine at the universities of Freiburg, Paris and Bonn, and music at the University of Cologne. He trained as client-centered therapist, play therapist and systemic therapist. Director of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Viersen since 1983. Chair of the German Association for Systemic Therapy and Family Therapy since 2000. Numerous publications on different topics such as systemic work in an inpatient care setting, systemic therapy of psychotic adolescents, therapy of mentally handicapped young people and of adolescent sexual offenders, systemic education, and the relationship between education and psychotherapy.
Wilhelm Rotthaus, Dr. med., hat neben dem Studium der Medizin in Freiburg, Paris und Bonn und dem der Musik in Köln Ausbildungen in klientenzentrierter Gesprächstherapie, klientenzentrierter Spieltherapie und in Systemtherapie absolviert. Seit 1983 ist er Fachbereichsarzt in den Kliniken für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie des Kindes- und Jugendalters der Rheinischen Kliniken Viersen. Seit Herbst 2000 Vorsitzender der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Systemische Therapie und Familientherapie (DGSF).
