Irena Namyslowska MD, Prof. of Psychiatry, individual and family therapist, supervisor of the Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association. Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, Warsaw, Poland. National Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Author of 80 papers and chapters in the books on clinical psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychotherapy, including first Polish textbook on family therapy as well as editor of the recent textbook on child and adolescent psychiatry. Long experience in under and postgraduate training in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, psychotherapy and mainly family therapy.
Prof. Dr. med. Irena Namyslowska, Einzel- und Familientherapeutin, Supervisorin der Abteilung für Psychotherapie der polnischen Psychiatrievereinigung. Matthias Ochs, geb. 1968, Diplom-Psychologe, tätig als Psychologischer Psychotherapeut und Systemischer Familientherapeut im psychologischen Dienst der Kinder- und Jugendklinik St. Annastift in Ludwigshafen (für die Bereiche chronische, onkologische und psychosomatische Erkrankungen), in der katholischen Ehe-, Familien- und Lebensberatungsstelle in Heidelberg und mit Lehrauftrag für Medizinische Psychologie am Klinikum der Universität Heidelberg. Publikationen zu folgenden Arbeitsschwerpunkte: systemische Paar- und Familientherapie; onkologische, chronische und psychosomatische Erkrankungen (vor allem primäre Kopfschmerzen) im Kindes- und Jugendalter; alternative Familienformen; systemische Therapie- und Beratungsforschung; Qualitative Forschung. Matthias Ochs, born 1968, Psychologist (MA) and Systemic Family Therapist, momentarily working in a paediatric hospital (cancer, chronic and psychosomatic illness), in a family counselling centre, and teaching at the hospital of the University of Heidelberg, department of Medical Psychology. Publications concerning the following issues: systemic marital and family therapy; paediatric cancer, chronic and psychosomatic illness in childhood and adolescence (especially primary headache); alternative family systems; systemic therapy and counselling research; qualitative research. Maria Orwid, born 23.07.1930, child of the Holocaust, graduation medical studies and postgraduate studies in psychiatry and psychotherapy in Cracow, Jagiellonian University. Employed since the very beginning (1959) in Department of Psychiatry at the University. As a young doctor situated in different positions during lifetime, finally the ordinary professor of psychiatry.
Main interest: posttraumatic psychopathology and psychotherapy, family therapy, adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, training of psychiatry and psychotherapy (under and postgraduate students). About publications and presentations. Retired as a Head of Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University. Employed again and responsible for the postgraduate training in psychiatry and partly in psychotherapy. During the life course different activities on many fields within Polish Association of Psychiatry and other scientific associations. Cofounder of section of Psychotherapy (1960) PAP, cofounder of Section of Family Therapy(1998) and IFTA (1987). Membership: Polish Association of Psychiatry, EFTA (honorary member), AFTA since 1986, Association of Children Holocaust in Poland, Association of Ex-Prisoners of Auschwitz. Training in: Cracow, Warsaw, London, Turku and partly in New York.
